SMS – TERMS OF USE
Effective May 29, 2025
Standish Management provides SMS-enabled phone numbers to employees to support secure communication with internal systems and approved platforms. These Terms of Use describe the intended use of SMS functionality, as well as how related data is handled and protected.
SMS is primarily used to support identity verification processes such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and login confirmations. Employees may also respond to system-generated prompts or use SMS for other limited, approved purposes.
SMS functionality is intended solely for receiving verification codes, authentication messages, and other system-directed prompts. While outbound SMS is technically enabled, it is not intended for general communication. Any use beyond the delivery and response to authentication messages must be explicitly authorized.
The frequency of SMS messages may vary based on authentication needs and system activity. These messages typically include login confirmations or verification codes. Standish Management does not use SMS for marketing or promotional messages. Standish Management does not send promotional or marketing messages using SMS.
All SMS-related data is handled in accordance with Standish Management’s Privacy Policy. Messages may contain metadata such as timestamps or verification codes, which are used exclusively to support secure system access and maintain operational integrity. SMS content is not shared externally and is never used for advertising or profiling.
Standish Management may monitor SMS usage to ensure compliance with security and operational requirements. Any misuse of SMS services may result in restriction of access or additional action in accordance with internal policies.
Because SMS is used to support secure system access, opting out may impact your ability to access certain services. Alternative delivery methods may be available where required.
