Jeff Bush, CPA


Jeff has over 25 years of experience in various roles in accounting, financial reporting and auditing of various real estate companies and real estate funds.

Before forming Standish Real Estate Services, as an affiliate of Standish Management, he has been leading the Real Estate group for Standish’s fund administration practice where they currently work with real estate firms and their funds. Prior to joining Standish, Jeff was a Principal at Capital Analytics, where he also led their Real Estate private equity group. Jeff was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he managed audits, primarily of alternative and real estate investment funds along with audits of individual real estate portfolios. Prior to PWC, Jeff was Regional Controller at Trammel Crow Residential where he oversaw accounting and reporting for owners and operators of a region of over 100 multi-family properties.

Jeff started his career at Deloitte in the audit group and worked with both private and public real estate companies.

Jeff earned his BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and he is a Certified Public Accountant.


Gabe Harmon, CPA (Inactive)


Prior to joining Standish in 2010, Gabe was a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young’s asset management group in San Francisco, where he specialized in audit services for various alternative asset funds including fund of funds, private equity, and hedge funds.

Gabe also has experience working for a family accounting firm focused on partnership accounting and tax.

Gabe earned a BS in Accounting and Philosophy from the University of Oregon. Gabe is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the AICPA.


Drue Garrett, CPA


Drue joined Standish Management in January 2018. Drue primarily serves real estate fund clients focused in all real estate sectors.

Before joining Standish, Drue served as Senior Controller for CB Fund Services LLC (CBFS), overseeing all accounting, reporting and administrative duties related to multiple real estate fund clients, including coordination of REIT compliance.

Prior to CBFS, Drue performed real estate accounting, REIT due diligence and compliance and real estate fund administration tasks at Acacia Realty Advisors, AMRESCO Capital Trust and Crow Holdings.

Drue earned his BBA in Accounting and MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.


Kyle Matthiesen, CPA


Kyle Matthiesen has over thirteen years of accounting experience in the alternative investment and real estate industries, primarily focused on financial reporting and administration of private equity and real estate funds.

Kyle started his career in the in the assurance group at RSM. His time in public accounting focused on audits of private real estate companies and their underlying properties. This included both operational and developmental properties in the commercial, industrial, multifamily and retail asset classes.

Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University. Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas.


Brandon Grabham, MBA

Accounting Manager

Brandon is an experienced real estate accounting professional with a diverse background in property, corporate, construction and development accounting for various types of real estate. Prior to joining Standish, Brandon worked as a Senior Property Accountant at Related Management performing full cycle accounting for a large portfolio of multi-family properties. He also helped develop and train on new processes and performed extensive system testing for new accounting programs. He worked with asset managers, construction managers, and lenders on large scale renovation projects. He began his accounting career at Riverstone Residential Group performing similar tasks for third party clients. Brandon has more than six years of Yardi experience and has worked with various other real estate accounting software.

Brandon earned his MBA with a Minor in Accounting and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Texas A&M – Commerce.


Brad Welcher

Vice President of Construction and Development

Brad Welcher has 20 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry, primarily focused on system implementations, budgeting and forecasting and financial reporting. Prior to joining Standish in 2021, Brad was Vice President of Finance at The Howard Hughes Corporation for 10 years. Brad started his career working in various accounting and finance roles for residential and commercial developers.

Brad earned a Master of Science in Accounting and Information Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas. He is a member of Financial Executives International and The Real Estate Council.


Robert Shaw, CPA


Robert has over 30 years professional experience, mainly focused on managing finance, accounting, reporting and operational groups, including third party administrators and joint venture partners, at large global private equity real estate investment funds Morgan Stanley Real Estate and Silverpeak Real Estate (formerly known as Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners). Prior to joining Standish, Robert was a Managing Director at Allvue Systems, where he was Product Manager for Real Assets and Private Equity Portfolio Monitoring solutions.

Robert started his career at Friedman LLP (fka Friedman, Alpren & Green) working on private real estate companies.

Robert is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the State University of New York at Oneonta.


Stephanie Lay, CPA


Stephanie joined Standish Real Estate Services as Controller in March 2021. Prior to joining Standish, Stephanie served as Assistant Controller for Lincoln Retail REIT Services, a division of Lincoln Property Company. At Lincoln Retail REIT Services, she oversaw the property accounting functions for a portfolio of 35 retail properties with over 600 tenants. Stephanie’s key areas of expertise are revenue recognition and expense recoveries.

Stephanie started her career at Deloitte in the financial accounting services group, which was ultimately acquired by Sutherland Global Services. She began as an accounts payable/receivable clerk and worked her way up to senior property accountant. Stephanie has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 2005 and has over 12 years of MRI experience.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University – Tulsa. Stephanie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.


Stephanie Stewart, CPA

Vice President of Property Operations

Stephanie recently joined Standish Real Estate Services. She has extensive and diverse real estate accounting and financial reporting experience serving most recently as the Managing Director of Accounting for Provident Realty Advisors where she focused on the financial reporting and a Yardi system conversion in addition to overseeing the accounting team, corporate services, and tax relations.

Prior to Provident, she was with Hillwood Development Company for 18 years. Stephanie started her career at Hillwood Development as an Accounting Manager with the Alliance division which is a leader in creating value through real estate investment. She specialized in the Industrial platform and ultimately moved to the Investment division where she was the Divisional Controller. She managed the reporting of several private equity funds with investments in real estate.  Prior to Hillwood she worked for Intershop Real Estate Services and Faison-Stone Las Colinas, Inc. She has worked in the real estate industry since 1989 and has 30 years experience with various real estate accounting software such as JD Edwards, Yardi and MRI.

Stephanie earned her BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas.
