Raja has 10+ years of legal experience in the alternative investment and corporate industry, primarily focused on transactions and private equity oversight. Raja Nbigui joined Standish in 2021, from Intertrust group where she worked as a fund lawyer and client director. Raja brings a wealth of legal experience as company law lecturer, corporate secretary and fund lawyer.

Raja was involved in the early stages of the development of the depositary services in Europe. Her focus is on meeting the regulatory requirements and adding value to the GPs, alternative investment funds and their investors. She worked in Amsterdam and London before joining the Standish team in London. Raja leads the depositary department in London.

Raja earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Business Law and a Master of Laws degree in Dutch Law (with distinction) from Tilburg University / Tilburg Law School (Netherlands). She completed the Oxford Private Equity programme at Said Business School/University of Oxford (United Kingdom).
