Derek has 12+ years of accounting experience in the alternative investment industry, primarily focused on financial reporting and administration of private equity, venture capital, and fund of funds. Derek joined Standish in 2014, from Fortress Investment Group where he was an analyst in the private equity accounting group.

Derek earned his Masters of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
