David has 30+ years of accounting experience in the alternative investment industry, primarily focused on financial reporting and administration of private equity, venture capital, and fund of funds. David joined Standish in 2018, from PEF services LLC where he served as executive vice president primarily responsible for consulting projects, business development and staff training.  Prior to PEF, David oversaw a large portfolio of venture and mezzanine funds as a regulatory analyst for the US Small Business Administration’s public private SBIC program.

David earned a BS in Finance and Commerce from the University of Virginia and is a frequent speaker on fund formation and regulatory compliance matters affecting private equity funds.
