Alison Osburn is Chief Regulatory Counsel and Managing Director at Standish Compliance. She has spent over 20 years specializing in private fund compliance. Alison advises hedge fund, real estate, energy, private equity, and fund-of-fund managers at all stages of development, delivering practical guidance that is informed by in-house experience to help build, maintain and enhance private fund compliance programs. As Standish Compliance’s Chief Regulatory Counsel, Ms. Osburn works with senior leadership to guide the firm’s strategic advice to clients and client teams.

Before joining Standish Compliance in 2022, Ms. Osburn held a senior compliance role at a global multi-strategy hedge fund and served as Chief Compliance Officer of its affiliated broker-dealer.

Ms. Osburn earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.
